Rapid detection. Targeted control. Healthier ecosystems.

The Global Institute for Molecular Detection and Therapeutics is being created to help reduce economic loss, antimicrobial resistance, and ecosystem disruption through rapid molecular detection and targeted control of animal pathogens.

Our work will focus on practical, science-driven tools for identifying animal pathogens earlier, understanding their risk, and supporting more precise responses before outbreaks cause serious damage.

We are building toward an integrated platform that connects molecular diagnostics, pathogen surveillance, antimicrobial resistance profiling, and targeted intervention strategies for animal health and environmental protection.

Our Focus

Early detection of animal pathogens

Molecular diagnostic tools

Antimicrobial resistance monitoring

Targeted pathogen control

Aquaculture and veterinary disease research

Healthier animals, safer systems, and stronger ecosystems

Our website is currently under development.

Soon, this site will include information about our mission, research priorities, partnerships, funding needs, and early projects.

For now, we are laying the foundation for a focused research and public-interest initiative designed to help protect animal populations, food systems, and the environments they depend on.
